Well...it is definitly almost here. A week to go !! Boy time sure does fly by. It seems like yesterday planning for this big day just started and seemed so far away. Its has really been one true rollercoster ride. Now that ot seems most of the kinks have be ironed out. feeling really excited and nervous. More excited that next week I will be marrying my best friend. I truly understand what that means. Most things are done, just got a few little things to do and then hopefully by mid week I can relax and breath just a bit !
Less than 30 days to go !! when I first started planning my wedding I thought May was gon' be forever til it got here. it is reall near and ish is about to get real !! lol I'm a little stresses and kinda feeling overwhelmed. There is still what seems to be so much to do. I'm hoping to have things done the week before so I can relax and take it all in the week of. I'm keeping my fingers crossed ! ha!
Its been a while since Ive been on here. (sighing) I have less than 2 months to go and Im really starting to get that overwhelming feeling NOW. I still have what seems alot to get done as well as get vendors paid off. I feel kinda behind due to the fact im just now getting my invites out and they should of been out a week ago. I still have some projects to finish up as well. So Im just praying I can get thru these last few weeks.
Yep, Thats how much time we have left. 90 days to get thing done to get married. This time of wedding planning has gone by so fast. Its just seem like yesterday I had 450 days to go and now Im at the 3 month mark. Im so exited and nervous all at the same time. I still have lots to do but striving to get things done. I finally gave up some control and let my wedding planner take some of the load off me. Tho Im still trying to hold on to some of my diy projects Im glad Im letting her help me. Next week I go for my dress fitting and so excited, I cant wait to put her on again. So just wanted to stop by. Check out some of my DIY projects as the are getting completed one by one !!
So my 4th month mark has come and gone. I have so many different emotions running thru me right now. I am excited, nervous, anxious and overwhelmed. There seems to be still so much to do and time is ticking on by. Come Feb. I will be really buckling down and getting my DIY projects tackled one by one. I hired a weeding planner and she is going to take on some of the projects which is a blessing. I just to need to give up control and hand them over lol. Well I have more to say but gotta run out for a bit will post soon cause I have BMs drama to relieve off my chest !
This past Sunday, I hit my 6 month mark. We are half way there..yayyy !!! Im excited that all deposits have been paid to all vendors we choosed to help make our day extra special !!! Our Honeymoon is still in the works..sigh..we'll get there eventully lol. Now we (ME) is focusing on the small details like getting ready to send out our SAVE THE DATES with XMAS cards..Yes im being a cheapy. lol and completing some DIY projects. Also we have been making payments towards things as I would like to have everything paid off by April that way we won't have worries of coming out of pockets of lump sums in the end. It will feel better giving our less than more lol. We got our Epics back and they turned out nice..so excited about them !
Its been crazy these past couple weeks. First of all..I made an appt for my BMs to go get fitted for their dresses. Out of 4 girls only 1order and paid for the dress. Now Im in the midst of trying to stress the importance of getting their dresses before Dec 15. we shall see. I just want them to hurry and get them so I don't have to sound like a pest !
Next up...My dress came and I'm excited about that. I will be making an appt to go for my 1st fitting !! Weight loss operation is in effect !! Then yesterday, I had a bridezilla moment..why..because I emailed my photog to see when our EPICS would be in. We did a 2st and 2nd look. and the 1st look which was my favorite ! The photog memory card was corrupted. He was only able to to retrieve 10 pics. I was sooo upset because I was really looking forward to those pics. The photog was very apologetic, gave me a nice discount and offered to do another shoot or boudoir shoot at no extra cost. So because I already said I wanted to do a boudoir session I chose that. I am going to continue to work with as he has assured me My wedding pictures will be perfection and I have nothing to worry about. I was ready to fire him !!! In the meantime, Ive been working on saving money and getting my DIY projects done !! We finally did it...we got our EPICS done this past Wednesday. We had to reschedule due to the rain out. I was so happy we were able to do them. Our photog was so great to work. Im happy we got to get a feel of what it will be like to work with on our wedding ! Now we're just waiting for a sneek peak..so stay tuned !
I am so excited that tomorrow 10/13 we are taking our engagement pics FINALLY !!!! I got 2 outfits that I think is perfect and so does my FI. I will be wearing a plum color sweater with a ruffel going down the front, with some jeans and cute boots. FI will be wearing jeans and a sweater not sure exactly what tho. We will be in a pumpkin patch for the 1st part of the session and Im so excited about that. The 2nd scene will be a bit more dressy and we'll be downtown by our riverfront. I am so excited and can't wait. Ill post pics as they come back !!!
So after doing much thinking and pricing the trip to NO its going to cost about the same if not more if we go to NO then Putna Cana..So Putna Cana it is. Iguess we better get our passports !
